Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait
The European Football Championship may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean you have to let go of your infatuation. You’ll remember French superstar Zinedine Zidane not only for his sensational skill, but for that famous 2006 World Cup headbutt. One year prior to that infamous match, filmmakers Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno captured every step, every glance, every motion Zidane made at the Villareal verses Real Madrid game on April 23, 2005. Moving Baltic Sea
Moving Baltic Sea is an international travelling festival aiming to develop new ways of meeting cultural and ecological challenges in the Baltic Sea region together with young filmmakers, photographers, writers and environmentally committed young people.
On July 4th, the sailing ship “Lovis” will enter the Stadthafen Rostock, which is also the main venue of the festival. The screenings, discussion, parties and other events are open to the general public as are most of the workshops.
