Postcard from Scotland
Address: Bonden Bar, Bondegatan 1
8pm – 1am
50 kronor
Age: 20 and over
There’s a school of thought among indie pop fans that classifies Scotland as a country at the very forefront of the pop scene. With a history including the old C-86 wave and classic bands like Teenage Fanclub, The Pastels and The Vaselines, as well as indie legends such as The Jesus and Mary Chain and eighties Primal Scream, it’s difficult not to agree.
Postcard from Scotland constitutes an attempt to bring a little piece of Scottish pop music to Stockholm and the classic Bonden Bar cellar.
Expect all sorts of Scottish music, with actual Scots often flown in to play live or pay a visit to the DJ booth.
Tonight
A very welcome visit from none other than Aidan Moffat (Arab Strap etc.) who will be DJing for the evening.
