“We received several calls from passengers on the train about an armed man and people fled out onto the platform in Västerhaninge. In Västerhaninge centre, a taxi driver was threatened by a man with a sawn-off shotgun. His fares were stolen and he was hit in the back of the head,” Lars Alvarsjö, station commander at the Södertörn police, told TT.
Witnesses to both incidents gave the same description and police believe it is the same perpetrator. He was tracked with canine units on Saturday morning, but has not yet been apprehended.
