Snow levels are at about 500 meters and top temperatures for Saturday in Germany will be around 8 degrees, DWD reported. The forecast for the coming week has temperatures hovering between 3 and 8 degrees, with no snow for the country’s lower elevations in sight.
By Sunday morning a new front system will be crossing over Germany and that’s behind the continued rain in the lower elevations and snow at higher ones. On Monday temperatures will range from lows of four degrees in the southeast to eight in western Germany.

Those looking for lots of snow can turn toward nearby Austria, where thousands of travelers have been stranded since Friday morning due to heavy snows.
Following the snow storm, the ski areas of Stuben, Zürs and Lech were first reachable late Saturday morning. Connections to other areas remain blocked and avalanche danger is still high, local authorities said.
