Living the Italian dream does take some creativity if you want to earn money along the way, with many foreigners choosing to set up their own business, whether it be running an olive grove or exporting crisps.

But there are other jobs that do not demand as much start-up capital and for which you can be trained: pizza-makers, for example, are in short supply in Italy, despite it being the land of the Neopolitan.
Even today, an Australian scooped the award for making the best Neopolitan pizza over his Italian counterparts.

There is also a high demand for yachting crew during the summer months, and skiing instructors in the winter.
