Around 6:50 pm on Sunday evening, a noisy group of protestors, many of whom have appeared in previous Pizzeria Anarchia demonstrations, led a march along busy roads in Vienna's Aspernbrückengasse.
Unlike previous demonstrations, there were no police in attendance. A long queue of impatient drivers built up behind the protestors on the Praterstrasse.
The protest was in all likelihood related to the eviction the previous week of a group of squatters from a nearby house in Vienna's 2nd district, which is undergoing a gentrification process which is opposed by some tenants.
The protestors carried a banner, which read (in English) "It has only just begun."
