The technician’s body was discovered by his colleagues on Saturday morning around 9am, with the death being officially pronounced an hour later.
An investigation has been launched into the man’s death, but according to reports in the French press, the initial investigation suggests the victim was electrocuted.
The dead man was a 45-year-old father who had worked at the park since 2002. He was from the Paris area.
Disneyland remained open at the weekend, but the haunted house, one of the park’s main attractions, was closed on Saturday.
Park chiefs sent their condolences to the victim's families.
