It might be time for Manuel Valls to step up his security.
A young man managed to apparently slap Valls in the face while the presidential hopeful was in Brittany on Tuesday.

Video footage, below, shows an 18-year-old man apparently shaking hands with Valls before he appears to slap him.
The teen is then tackled to the ground by a security guard.
The 18-year-old has since been detained, police said later.
Following the scuffle, Valls told reporters: “I've never been afraid of having contact with French people. Democracy can never mean violence.”
The apparent slap came almost exactly a month after Valls was attacked by a flour bomb in Strasbourg, when a protester shouted the words :”49:3 we won't forget it,” in reference to the controversial clause used by Valls to force two unpopular bills through parliament without a vote from MPs.
Valls announced in December his intentions to run for president, but faces an uphill battle to even win the Socialist primary later this month.
