The German weather service (DWD) reported Saturday that the country is likely to be dominated by damp, humid conditions in the coming days with winds coming mainly from the Iberian peninsula and North Africa.
That means that showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the weekend in Germany, though the probability of rain will differ from day to day.

Sunday and Tuesday are forecast to be the driest days, at least in northern Germany – the south of the country could still have some thunder.
Monday and Wednesday, on the other hand, are likely to remain rainy and overcast, especially in northern and central Germany.
Germany’s meteorologists are no more optimistic for the second half of the week, when the general situation is unlikely to change, despite regional differences.
The south of the country can at least enjoy the warmer temperatures, which are expected to remain in the high-20s degrees Celsius. But northern Germany will be colder, with temperatures hovering in the 20-25 degree range.
