Swedish is a tough language to master, and our readers came flocking with examples of embarrassing mistakes they've made while trying to learn it. Here are our favourite ten. Warning: Some are rather naughty indeed.

The Swedish language is a minefield at the best of times. Not only do you have to tackle three alien letters (ö, ä, å) but you have to use them exactly right or you'll probably be saying something rude.
But it's not just the little vowels (though it often is). Our readers flooded our Facebook feed with examples where they'd inadvertently shocked a Swede by calling them ugly, or ordering a smoked badger at a restaurant.
Or accidentally talking about their genitalia, for example.

Yes, we should warn you now, some of these are extremely rude. In fact, the entire second half of this list is rude. The final slide is all about the most vulgar of all Swedish words.
But they're all worth seeing – even if just to stop yourself making the same mistakes.
