As the saying goes, “there’s no bad weather, only bad clothes.”
Before moving to Denmark, I have may scoffed at such an extreme point of view. After all, there is bad weather. And in Denmark, there’s lots of it.
But the point is taken: if you don’t have clothes to keep you warm and dry, you’re probably going to be useless. The will to go outside during winter is largely based on whether you’re going to be freezing once you get out there.
Learn from my mistakes, people, and get yourself bundled. Here’s how Scandinavia Standard weathers the winter:
Scandinavia Standard is a website and lifestyle brand providing content on design, culture and local business in the Scandinavian capitals for English-speaking residents and travellers, as well as those interested in the Scandinavian aesthetic internationally.
