The first flights to Castellón – Costa Azahar airport begin this week, four-and-a-half years after the airport was first inaugurated.
There will be three weekly flights to London Stansted airport and two weekly flights to Bristol airport.
The announcement of the new route has already provoked interest in the area's property and the province is anticipating a tourism boom.
The province is full of beautiful, relatively undiscovered gems, from natural thermal pools to beautiful cathedrals and rocking festivals.
