Police called out by Munch tribute screaming
Oslo Police were called out several nights in a row last week, following reports of female screams emanating from the city's Ekeberg Park.

However, the outbursts came from a collaborative performance art piece rather than from any crime being committed.
For five nights, starting last Thursday, 300 Oslo residents gathered in the park to "release their emotions by screaming", in a tribute to Norwegain artist Edvard Munch orchestrated by New York performance artist Marina Abramović.
"We received four or five reports tonight as well," said Ola Kroken of the Oslo Police. "But now it's over."
A film of the 300 screams, which were performed against the same Oslo city backdrop that Munch used for his painting The Scream, will be shown around the world to mark the 150th anniversary of the artist's birth.
