Photo of the week: Sunset over Gothenburg

Every week, The Local invites readers to submit their pictures to our photo competition, to bring our audience together from all parts of Sweden.

Photo of the week: Sunset over Gothenburg

This week’s winner is Ian Moloney, who snapped a picture of a dramatic sunset over Sweden’s second-biggest city.

He writes that the picture was taken at Järntorget (“The Iron Square”). The square got its name in 1867 from a now-demolished scale which was used to weigh iron before it was exported from Gothenburg’s busy harbour.
