A recent survey from Statistics Sweden showed that around six percent of people born in Sweden aged 16 and over didn’t have any close friends. And the situation is even worse for the foreign-born population, with fully 13 percent saying they didn’t have a close friend.

This prompted us to survey readers of The Local to get your tips on how to make friends in Sweden and this episode features some of the responses we received.
